Established in 1997, Canadian K9 was the first full-service private security firm that offered K9 detection services for both narcotics and explosives in Western Canada, in addition to traditional guard, investigation and security consulting services. Canadian K9 falls under the umbrella company group8108 Executive Protection Inc. (group8108). group 8108 is a privately held VIP security company established in 2010 to provide VIP security support to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
